This program prepares adults for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) to test to receive up to 30/60 semester hours (from the Education Testing Service), and the transition back to college or first time entry. The program will focus on English, college mathematics, business, computers, history, and research. The association will use the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) outline to prepare adults to take the CLEP Tests.
Leadership Skills Training
Leadership skills training will help develop employees desiring to assume a leadership position within the organization. This seminar highlights the managerial topics covered in the Management CLEP exam. The Education Testing Service awards participants who pass the exam college credit.
Marketing Skills Training
Marketing skills helps give organizations an entrepreneurial edge. This seminar highlights topics covered in the Marketing CLEP exam. The Education Testing Service awards participants college credit once they pass the exam.
Computer Skills Training
Computers skills’ training is a hands-on, small group, seminar. It prepares participants for the Computer CLEP exam. The Education Testing Service awards participants who pass the exam college credit.
Business Communications Part I and II
Business communications is a two-part seminar. It prepares participants for the Freshman English CLEP exam and the English placement test. The Education Testing Service awards participants who attend both sessions and pass the exam college credit.
Business Law Development Skills
Business Law augments required ethics training. This seminar prepares participants for the Business Law CLEP Exam. The Education Testing Service awards college credit to participants who pass the exam.
College Placement Test
Math refresher seminar. It prepares participants for the College Math CLEP Exam. The Education Testing Service awards college credit to participants who pass the exam.
Human resources assistant program. Participants are exposed to state-of-the-art human resources issues. This participant centered program gives hands-on instruction in information technology, marketing, sales, leadership and management, organizational behavior, research techniques, and finance.
Introduction to information technology. The seminar will assist participants manage IT anxiety, and become familiar with computer assembly, history, and terminology. The seminar will instruct participants on how to help develop low-income employees for IT positions. Also, the introduction updates managers on the latest trends in IT.
IT networking training. The seminar will assist participants to qualify as IT networking personnel, as they receive hands-on familiarity with topology, history, and terminology. The seminar will also show managers and supervisors how to design training programs for low-income employees to transition to IT networking positions and give managers and supervisors an update on the latest trends in networking.
Web site design skills. Managers and participants can use these skills to establish strategic alliances with their training and development partners. Also, the seminar will assist participants to manage website design, and become familiar with security issues, history, and terminology. The seminar shows low-income employees how to qualify for e-commerce positions and update managers on the latest trends in marketing and e-business. .
